<p>Banana bread, banana muffins and now Banana Upside Down Cake is a favorite in our home!  We love working together to make our favorite banana breads and muffins for early morning and quick breakfast options and most the time we eat it for snack as well!  </p>

<p><strong>Bananas</strong> <br>There are two ways that bananas are used in this recipe, one sliced and one smashed!  Fresh bananas that have brown speckles, but not too brown and soft are the best.  </p>



<p><strong>Sour Cream </strong><br>Can be replaced with greek yogurt if you don't have sour cream!  </p>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside&nbsp;</li><li>In a medium bowl, whisk together the mashed banana, granulated sugar, eggs, sour cream, melted butter and vanilla extract; mix until just combined&nbsp;</li><li>Add the dry ingredients in to the banana mixture and whisk until all ingredients are combined&nbsp;</li><li>Spread the banana cake batter over the sliced bananas and bake for 28-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a cake tester comes out clean</li></ul>
