Halloween activity day!!! As scary as it may be….October is coming to an end and Halloween is tomorrow. We made it through three kids activity days…missing one because we were out of town and we missed last week, just because that is the way the week went (some weeks are more organized than others with 2 kids). So last minute I decided to make snack bags for Sophie’s classmates, but I know they are going to be overloaded with candy so I have decided to throw in a salty sweet snack. Although they do have a little chocolate on them, I thought the parents would appreciate a change up from all the sugar. If you are looking for a last minute treat, these are the perfect thing you can make quickly and your kids can help as well!
Food Coloring: Orange and Yellow
Cello Bags (if you want to wrap for gifts)
melt your white chocolate in a large bowl
separate chocolate into three small bowls or cups
leave one cup white, add yellow to one and orange to the last cup of chocolate
dip all pretzel rods into white chocolate and allow to dry
dip white chocolate into yellow chocolate half way up and allow to dry
dip yellow chocolate pretzel into orange half way up and allow to dry
once all the chocolate is dried on the pretzel you can serve them or package them for gifts
Enjoy and Happy Halloween!
