<p><strong>Gingerbread Loaf </strong><br><strong>All Purpose Flour</strong>-I don't recommend substituting any other flour, All Purpose Flour is the best for quick bread.  <br><strong>Light Brown Sugar-</strong> Light or dark brown sugar will work, but I prefer light for a more mild flavor.  <br><strong>Baking Soda</strong>-Make sure to only use baking soda and not baking powder, this will affect the recipe and not turn out the same.  &nbsp;<br><strong>Spices-</strong>This bread is super spiced using a lot of ground ginger, cinnamon, allspice&nbsp;, nutmeg<br>Butter-Unsalted butter is the way to go!  Make sure to melt the butter before mixing it in the recipe&nbsp;<br><strong>Molasses</strong>- A traditional ingredient when making gingerbread, molasses will give the bread its dark color and robust flavor<br><strong>Eggs-</strong> Large Eggs at room temperature &nbsp;<br><strong>Buttermilk</strong>- The acid that will react to the baking soda, do not replace this with regular milk.  If you don't have buttermilk at home, make your own by combining 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice to 1 Cup Whole Milk&nbsp;</p>
