<p>Summer has officially started for you or you are patiently waiting a few more weeks to end the daily routine of school mornings, packing lunches and evenings filled with homework.  We are so close to the end but pretending it is already summer and enjoying the freshest and most flavorful Summer Rosé Sangria poolside.  This cocktail is going to be on repeat all summer because I am loving the refreshing fruit filled flavor of the rosé and also snacking on the marinated fruit slices.    </p>

<p><strong>Rosé-</strong>choose your favorite bottle of Rosé and one that is on the lighter side and not too sweet.   <br><strong>St. Germain-</strong> A light and floral elderflower liqueur pairs perfectly with rosé and a great addition to spring and summer cocktails.  <br><strong>Stone Fruit-</strong>Cherries, nectarines and apricots are a few of my favorite summer stone fruits that pair perfectly with rosé.  Feel free to add in other stone fruits that you love, such as peaches, plums and mangoes.  <br><strong>Lemons-</strong> Lemon slices and a dash of lemon juice adds the perfect amount of citrus paired with stone fruit and the sweet flavors of rosé wine but you could also substitute the lemon for orange slices!   <br><strong>Sparkling Water</strong>- The final touch, sparkling water is added at the very end to each individual glass for a bubbly finish.   </p>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li><strong>Add The Fruit</strong> In a large pitcher, add the pitted cherries, sliced nectarines, sliced apricots and sliced lemons </li><li><strong>Add the St. Germain Liqueur</strong>  Pour the St. Germain Elderberry Liqueur and lemon juice over the sliced fresh fruit </li><li><strong>Add the Rosé</strong> Pour the bottle of rosé into the pitcher and allow the fruit to infuse for one hour before serving </li><li><strong>Serve Over Ice</strong> Pour the sangria into individual glasses over ice , add the sliced fruit to each glass and then top off each glass with a splash of sparkling water and garnish with fresh mint</li></ul>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Make This Sangria Recipe Ahead Of Time </h2>



<p>This is the perfect cocktail recipe to prepare in advance!  Actually it is best when prepared a few hours before serving or overnight to allow the fruits to absorb into the rosé wine and bring out all the flavors.  This Summer Rosé Sangria can last in the refrigerator for up to three days, but make sure to add the sparkling water into the individual glasses right before you are ready to serve for a little extra bubble!  </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Expert Tips and FAQS </h2>



<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>A dry rosé wine will work great for sangria because the fruit will naturally sweeten it up, but ultimately pick your favorite rosé for the base of this sangria.  </li><li>Allow the wine and fruit to infuse for at least one house to bring out all the stone fruit flavors.</li></ul>
