Title: Founder and Recipe Developer/Creator of Joy + Oliver
Location: Dallas, TX
Education: I began my college career at the University of Oklahoma, where I studied Interior Architecture. After discovering a deep passion for the culinary arts, I interned at The Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas, and went on to attend The French Culinary Institute in New York City, graduating in 2003. During my studies, I worked in the pastry department at Le Cirque under a team of exceptionally talented chefs.
In 2004, I returned to my hometown of Dallas and founded Tart Bakery. With the support of my family and friends, I owned and operated the bakery for more than nine years, growing it into a successful retail and wholesale business. I ultimately sold the bakery to spend more time with my family. Stepping away from the retail bakery world has allowed me to focus on writing and creating for Joy + Oliver, where I now share my favorite recipes and culinary inspirations.
My Story
Welcome to my kitchen. I am so glad that you are here!
Joy + Oliver is very special to me—Joy is the middle name shared by my two daughters and myself, and Oliver is the name of our son. All three love getting messy in the kitchen right alongside me. This space allows me to share not only my love for cooking, baking, and entertaining, but also the sweet family that inspires it all.
I come from Italian and Lebanese heritage, and if you know anything about these cultures, you know that food and entertaining are at the heart of everything we do. My greatest joys are my three children—two daughters and a son—and my incredibly supportive husband. We love spending time together, whether that’s hosting friends, enjoying date nights, or traveling as a family.
I started Joy + Oliver after selling the bakery I owned and operated for more than nine years. While I cherished every part of the bakery—from my loyal customers to sharing my desserts—becoming a mother shifted my priorities. I found that I loved being home with my children even more. Joy + Oliver has given me the gift of continuing to create in my kitchen, feeding my family, and sharing recipes with you along the way.
Entertaining as a family is central to our lives, so I focus on creating recipes that are attainable, delicious, and beautiful to serve. I’m grateful to create dishes you can enjoy with your own family and friends. I’ve also had the pleasure of working with and partnering with wonderful brands, both locally and nationally. I’m deeply connected to my hometown community and regularly contribute recipes and food insights to the Dallas Morning News, Arts & Life section.
Here on Joy + Oliver, you’ll find original recipes alongside cherished favorites from my Italian nanny’s (grandmother’s) recipe book. I’m excited to bring you along as I discover new products and continue tasting my way through life.
Cheers!
You need to familiarize yourself with the conditions and methods of work of the selected company. If employees are ready for a ridiculous money to provide a finished thesis project, it will mean only one thing: the customer will receive the downloaded work thousands of times, the contents of which his teacher has long known. And to protect such a project will be impossible, and time will already be lost.
