I am excited to welcome you into my kitchen. Joy + Oliver is very special to me because JOY is the middle name of our two daughters and myself while OLIVER is our son, all of whom love getting messy in the kitchen with me. Joy + Oliver has allowed me to introduce you to, not only my love for baking and entertaining, but my sweet family as well.
As the saying goes, it should be “easy as pie” so you can enjoy all of life’s celebrations.

I graduated in 2003 from The French Culinary Institute in NYC (now known as the International School). After working at Le Cirque (NYC) and the Mansion (Dallas), I started a bakery in 2004 in my hometown of Dallas, TX. I owned and operated the bakery with the support of my family and friends for over 8 years. After growing a successful retail and wholesale bakery, I had a great opportunity to sell it and enjoy this special time with my family.
The joys in my life are my two daughters, my son and my husband. What I love about our large Italian/Lebanese family is our zest for entertaining and all things sweet, so I can continue to bake and create new desserts for all occasions.
I have since launched a recipe development and food photography + styling business to capture more of the senses… it must look as good as it tastes. I have enjoyed working for and partnering with great brands both locally and nationally. To learn more, click here, Let’s collaborate!

Joy + Oliver will have my original recipes as well as some of my favorites from my Italian Nannies’s (grandma’s) recipe book. I am excited to take you with me as I find new products and taste my way through life. Cheers!
