Classic Banana Bread

1 1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
1 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon Ground Ginger
1/2 teaspoon Salt
2 Eggs
3/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 Cup Banana, Mashed
1/2 cup Chopped Pecan (optional)


  1. Preheat oven t0 350 degrees F and prepare a loaf pan with vegetable spray
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, granulated sugar and salt; set aside
  3. In a large bowl, mash the bananas to measure 1 cup and add in vegetable oil, vanilla extract and eggs; whisk until fully combined
  4. Add the dry ingredients into the bowl of the banana mixture and whisk until smooth
  5. (optional)Fold the chopped pecans into the batter
  6. Pour the banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
  8. Remove the loaf pan from the oven and allow it to cool completely in the pan
  9. Place the Classic Banana Bread Loaf on a platter and serve!  Enjoy!
