Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 3 Cups All Purpose Flour
  • 2 Tsp Baking Powder
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. In a mixing bowl with paddle attachment, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy
  3. Add in the eggs; one at a time
  4. Slowly add in dry ingredients and mix until fully combined
  5. Scoop the dough into teaspoon size balls and then roll them into a small log; repeat until all the batter is gone
  6. Dip the sesame cookies into milk and then dip them in the sesame seeds
  7. Place the cookies on the parchment lined baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes or until the colors turns a slight golden brown
  8. Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool at room temperature
  9. Serve or store in an airtight container
