Helpful Tips and FAQ’s
I like using fresh fruit for this recipe, but you can always use frozen fruit.  Using frozen fruit might cause the popsicles to be a little more icy then cream, but they will still taste delicious!

There are a lot of different popsicles molds, but if you don’t have a popsicle mold you can use small cups instead

Need more veggies in your life?  Adding a hand full of spinach to this Strawberry Banana Smoothie Popsicle is a great addition and will not add any flavor, just more vitamins!

This is a great recipe for your kids to help out with.  Mine love to make smoothies and now they are obsessed with making their own popsicles.

How Long To Freeze Popsicles
Homemade popsicles usually take about 6-8 hours to freeze completely, but I like to make them the day before so that I am 100% sure they will be ready when I need them.

How To Unmold Frozen Popsicles
Once the popsicles are made and in the freezer, the next question is how to I get the popsicles out of the mold.  While it is super simple, there is a trick that makes it even easier.  Once the popsicles are frozen, run hot water on the popsicle mold for a few minutes, but make sure that the water does not get into the mold and touch the popsicles.  Gently pull on the stick and the popsicle should slide right out.  This process can be repeated if it doesn’t come out easily the first time, just be sure you don’t completely melt the popsicle!
