Strawberry Cream Smoothie is a kid favorite after school snack in our home! There is nothing better than a treat that is also filled with vitamins, minerals, fiber and protein and they don't even know it. I love sneaking in fresh spinach, chia seeds and protein powder to the delicious frozen strawberries, mango and bananas.

Although strawberry is a classic smoothie that you can't go wrong with, we are making sure to load up vitamin C during the winter months and enjoying our Vitamin C Immunity Smoothie and Blueberry Protein Smoothie.

    Strawberry Cream Smoothie Ingredients

Bowls of fresh spinach, frozen mango, frozen strawberries, almond milk, two bananas, chia seeds

Strawberries-Fresh or frozen strawberries work great in this smoothie!
Mango-Frozen mango will add a perfect amount of sweet and also is a great source of magnesium and potassium.
Spinach-One cup of fresh spinach is a great way to sneak in vegetables for the day and is full of vitamins and minerals.
Bananas-The key ingredients to making this smoothie extra creamy.
Chia Seeds-Known to be loaded with antioxidants, fiber and omega 3 fatty acids, Chia Seeds are the perfect ingredient to throw into every smoothie for an extra boost!
Protein Powder- Choose your favorite protein or collagen powder and you will feel full longer.
Milk-Almond, coconut, oat or cows milk all works great, but I love the addition of a Vanilla Almond Milk in this recipe. My favorite almond milk is Nutpods French Vanilla.

    Step-by-Step Directions

    • Combine the strawberries, mango, spinach, bananas, chia seeds, protein powder and almond milk in a high speed blender.
    • Blend until smooth and creamy!

    Flax Seeds

Can I Change Out The Fruit?

Strawberry is the star of the show in this smoothie, but feel free to replace the mango with pineapple or another frozen fruit of your choice!

Do I have to add protein powder?

No! You can definitely eliminate the protein powder from this recipe.

Can I make smoothies in advance?

I love to make smoothies in morning of the day and stick them in the freezer so they are ready for me to take out for an after school snack!
