I love spring entertaining and I am always in the kitchen creating new recipes that my whole family will love. Classic deviled eggs is a favorite, but adding avocados really makes this appetizer super flavorful and extra creamy. Whipped Avocado Deviled Eggs is the perfect easy appetizer for Mother's Day and would also be a fun addition to your Cinco de Mayo festivities.

Whipping the avocado, egg yolks, mayonnaise, lemon juice and all the seasoning in a food processor will make this filling extra smooth and super fluffy! The filling will pipe perfectly into the holes of the egg whites and then can be garnished with watermelon radishes and micro greens or fresh herbs for a beautiful finishing touch.

Adding avocados to some of our favorite recipes is a great way to get a creamy texture with the benefits of the healthy fats and nutrients that it provides. Try out this Tropical Avocado Smoothie for another favorite avocado recipe.

    Ingredients

An egg filled with avocado cream and topped with a watermelon radish slice.

Egg-boiled at home or store bought, hard boiled eggs are the base of this appetizer. If you are in a rush, I always grab pre boiled eggs at the store, but if you have the time fresh hard boiled eggs are always better!
Avocado- Grab a perfectly soft and ripe avocado
Mayonnaise- My favorite mayonnaise is the Primal Kitchen brand. It is also a dairy free mayonnaise!
Seasoning- Salt, pepper, cumin and lemon juice are the flavors that enhance this recipe and make it extra special

    Step-by-Step Directions

    • Cut the avocado in half, remove the skin and the seed and place the avocado in the bowl of the food processor

Tips and FAQS To Make The Best Deviled Eggs

    Time Saver
If you don't have time to boil, cool, peel and fill the Deviled Eggs, it is ok to buy hard boiled eggs at the grocery store.

    Ingredient Variations
There are so many fun ways to garnish deviled eggs! I love adding thin sliced radishes, but you can also add pickled onions and cilantro goes great with the avocado.

How Long Do Deviled Eggs Last?

It is always best to serve the deviled eggs the same day they are made, but if you have left overs they can be store in the refrigerator for 1-2 days in an air tight container.
