Quick and easy appetizers are the key to a successful event! This Easy Baked Spinach Artichoke Dip can be made ahead of time and baked right before your event starts for a hot and fresh appetizer that everyone will love!

It is always fun to have a variety of appetizers on your table and we are loving this dip paired with our Marinated Olives and flavorful Bruschetta Trio.

    Ingredients

Ingredients for dip, bowls of mayonnaise, sour cream, cream cheese, artichoke hearts, garlic powder, spinach and ritz crackers.

Cream Cheese-I typically use full fat cream cheese at room temperature but you can use low-fat if you prefer!
Sour Cream-Full fat or reduced fat sour cream will work great for this recipe but another alternative is greek yogurt!
Mayonnaise- Adds a creamy and rich flavor to this recipe, but if you don't have it you can replace with extra sour cream.
Cheese- A combination of parmesan and mozzarella cheese make this extra cheesy and decadent!
Spices- Garlic powder and pepper add the perfect amount spice
Artichoke Hearts-I prefer to use canned artichoke hearts drained, but frozen and defrosted artichoke hearts also work great
Spinach- Frozen spinach that is thawed and drained is the best option for this dip
Crackers-I love using ritz crackers crushed up on top of the dip for an extra buttery and delicious crunch

Tips and FAQS To Making This Easy Appetizer

Room Temperature Ingredients- It is important to use room temperature ingredients when mixing everything together to ensure a creamy texture and no clumps!

Can This Be Made In Advance?

Yes! The best part about this recipe is that it can be mixed and assembled the day before and then baked right before you are ready to serve!

Can I freeze The Spinach Artichoke Dip?

Absolutely! I would freeze it before it is baked and then remove it the night before and place in the refrigerator to thaw before baking. Great option to always have on hand for a last minute appetizer need!

Can I use fresh spinach instead of frozen?

Yes! If you are using fresh spinach you will need to steam it first and then squeeze the excess water that comes out of it.
