    Chocolate PB Pretzel Balls

    pb pretzel ballsOk, so I made these for fun and with Valentine's Day in mind but did not realize the response I would get from these Salty, Peanut Buttery, Chocolate goodness.  I have made peanut butter balls for a long time, but lately (thanks to my husbands love for salt)  I really love salty foods, either alone or dipped in something sweet.  So I was mixing these amazing peanut butter balls and last minute decided to throw in some crushed pretzels...Well that was a great idea! Enjoy.

    Peanut Butter Pretzel Balls

    Ingredients

    Scale
    • 1 cup peanut butter, creamy
    • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature
    • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
    • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
    • ½ cup pretzels, crushed
    • Chocolate glaze

    Instructions

    1. mix the peanut butter and softened butter
    2. add the vanilla extract and powdered sugar and mix until it is the consistency of stiff dough
    3. mix in the crushed pretzels
    4. roll dough into 1" balls and freeze until firm
    5. melt the chocolate and dip the balls one at a time
    6. sprinkle each ball with sea salt
    7. refrigerate until chocolate is set
    8. serve or refrigerate in air tight container
