Ingredient Notes
Strawberries- Fresh strawberries are the star of this fruit cocktail. I really only love using fresh strawberries to ensure that the flavor stays pure and sweet.
Basil- Adding an herb flavor pairs so well with the fresh strawberries and I love the addition of basil. If you don't love basil or don't have any on hand, you can always replace the basil with mint or another herb you love.
Lemon- Fresh squeezed lemon juice adds the perfect amount of tart flavor to the cocktail. As an alternative, you can also use lime juice.
Honey- Just a touch of sweet and I love the natural flavor of honey.
Vodka- Western Sons Strawberry Vodka adds another pop of strawberry flavor to this fruit and fresh cocktail. If you don't have strawberry vodka, you can use a vodka of your choice.

Helpful Tips and FAQS To Make The Best Cocktails
Fresh Fruits and Juices
It is really important when making a cocktail to juice 100% fresh fruits and juices. This will ensure that your cocktail will taste the best and not be too sweet.
Fresh Herbs
I always love adding fresh herbs to my cocktails! Whether you are using them as a garnish or infusing them in a simple syrup, the herbs add a fresh element and a pop of color!
I always think it is best to make the cocktail right before you are serving it to be sure that the flavor is not diluted from the ice. If you do need to make a batch in advance be sure to wait to add the ice and the sparkling water until right before you serve the cocktail.
Yes, you can multiply the amount you need and mix this in a pitcher or punch bowl. Do not add the sparkling water until you serve the cocktail in a glass and you can top it off with the bubbles.
