    Why Make This Smoothie

This High Protein Raspberry Cottage Cheese Smoothie is packed with over thirty grams of protein, thanks to the cottage cheese and the protein powder but also has the perfect amount of sweetness from the frozen raspberries. Quick and easy to make, this recipe takes less than five minutes to prepare and you have a super creamy and delicious breakfast, lunch or snack that will refuel your body.

When the New Year comes around and it is time to cut the junk food and desserts, I always love adding a smoothie to my daily menu. I love this Raspberry Cottage Cheese Smoothie but will alternate with this energy boosting Rise and Shine Coffee Smoothie and this Vitamin C Immunity Smoothie. My kids love these as well!

    Ingredient Notes

Five bowls filled with frozen raspberries, milk, cottage cheese, protein powder and freeze dried raspberries, next to a bunch of mint leaves.

Frozen Raspberries-Low in calories and high in fiber, antioxidants and vitamin C. They add the perfect amount of sweetness to the smoothie.

Low Fat Cottage Cheese-A powerhouse of protein and makes the smoothie super creamy and thick. Once it is blended you will never know that it has been added and the grainy texture turns to smooth.

Protein Powder-Pick your favorite Vanilla Protein Powder. I love using Clean Simple Eats Vanilla Protein.

Milk-Almond milk is a low calorie dairy-free alternative that adds creaminess without overwhelming the flavors. You can also use other milk alternatives based on your dietary preferences.

How To Make High Protein Raspberry Smoothie

A clear blender filled with a creamy pink liquid.
    • In a large blender, combine the frozen raspberries, cottage cheese, protein powder and almond milk.
    • Blend on high until the it is smooth and creamy (if it is to thick, you can add more milk)
    • Pour the smoothie into your serving glass and top with freeze dried raspberry powder (optional)
    • Enjoy!!

Tips to Make the Best Smoothies

A clear glass filled with a pink creamy liquid, topped with a dark pink powder and a green mint leaf.

Frozen Fruit-I love using frozen fruit in a smoothie because it will make the smoothie very creamy and cold and add flavor. If you are not using frozen fruit you can add ice cubes to make your smoothie thick and creamy.

Add a Banana-If you want the smoothie to be slightly sweeter and more fruit flavor you can adda banana to your smoothie for a touch more creaminess.

Protein Powder- Super important to find a protein powder that you like. This will add the extra nutrients and protein without any additional fuss.

Additional Ingredients-The best part about a smoothie is that you can customize it to your liking. I love adding spinach or chia seeds to my smoothie.
