    Sweet & Salty Reindeer Snacks

    IMG_3206I decided to quickly sit down and add this recipe for all of you if you decide to whip up a batch of reindeer snacks....because they get hungry too 😉  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all and I hope you enjoy the time with your family and friends gathered around the table.

    Salty Sweet Reindeer Snacks

    Ingredients

    Scale
    • ½ Cup Peanut Butter
    • 1 Cup Semi Sweet Chocolate Chip
    • ¼ Cup Caramel Pieces
    • ¼ Cup Unsalted Butter
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • ½ tsp Sea Salt
    • 10 Cups Chex Cereal
    • 2 Cups Powdered Sugar
    • 1 Cup Peanut Butter M&M's
    • 2 Cups Pretzel Sticks

    Instructions

    1. In a large bowl combine peanut butter, chocolate, caramel pieces and butter
    2. Microwave on high for 1 minute or until fully melted
    3. Stir together until completely combined and smooth
    4. Add in the chex cereal and gently stir until each piece is covered in chocolate mixture
    5. Get two large zip lock backs and scoop 1 cup of powdered sugar into each
    6. Divide the chex cereal into 2 bags and toss gently until powdered sugar has coated each piece
    7. Spread the mixture onto a sheet pan to dry
    8. Sprinkle peanut butter m&ms and pretzels into the cereal mixture
    9. Serve in a large bowl and package for gifts
