With spring weather creeping in and longer days ahead of us, I am excited to change up my morning routine with a fresh Iced Matcha Tea Latte. Although i love my cup of coffee in the morning, this quick and easy Matcha Latte is a refreshing drink that has so many wonderful benefits.

Matcha tea is naturally high in antioxidants and studies have shown that it can protect the liver and is proven to boost brain function. We all need these benefits to start our day and it is delicious too!

    Ingredients

a bowl of matcha tea, a bowl of honey, cinnamon sticks and a jar of almond milk

Matcha Green Tea is a green powdered tea leaf that is used for drinking or can be enjoyed in baked goods. There are different qualities of Matcha green tea, so be sure to grab the Ceremonial grade matcha that is the highest quality for drinking.

Honey is the sweetener for the Green Tea Latte. I love buying local raw honey that can be healing to your seasonal allergies.

Almond Milk There are a variety of almond milk options to choose from and I love using a vanilla almond milk to add a slightly sweet flavor. Other milk options that work great are coconut milk, oat milk or a classic cows milk.
