April is here and I have Easter on my mind.  I have to say, this is the best time of year.  The weather is beautiful, the spring flavors are so refreshing and Easter candy is the BEST!  I am incorporating my absolute favorite Mini Cadbury Eggs with a swirl of semi sweet or dark chocolate and peanut butter chips to make this incredible and festive Chocolate Peanut Butter Easter Bark!

This dessert with fit perfectly on a table filled with Italian Easter Bread, a delicious Spring Charcuterie Board and beautiful Easter Shortbread Cookies.

    Ingredients

    • Chocolate- A combination of semi sweet or chocolate swirled to gather with peanut butter chips makes the beautiful base for this bark. If you prefer milk chocolate or white chocolate you can substitute for the semi sweet.
    • Candy- An assortment of Easter candy is what makes this chocolate bark extra fun! I love cadbury eggs and mini Reece's peanut butter cups, but so many more candies can be added. Easter M&M is also a great addition!
    • Pretzels- Salted pretzels adds a delicious addition of salty sweet for this dessert!
    • Sprinkles- Any sprinkles you love or have at home will work, but if you want to get some festive Easter sprinkles that would make this extra cute!

    Step-by-Step Directions

    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside
    • Using a double boiler or microwave, melt the semi sweet chocolate chips and peanut butter chocolate chips
    • Pour the chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread out into a large rectangle
    • While the semi sweet chocolate is still warm, swirl the melted peanut butter chocolate chips into the chocolate
    • Sprinkle the chopped cadbury eggs, pretzels, mini peanut butter cup and sprinkles onto the chocolate
    • Allow the chocolate bark to set at room temperature for 30-45 minutes or place in the refrigerator to to cool quickly
    • Once the chocolate bark has hardened, break into pieces
    • Place into serving dish or keep refrigerator until ready to serve!
