I love creating a super fun cocktail each year to share with my guest and make it a little spooky and a little sweet. This Spiced Blueberry Vodka Tonic is a take on a traditional vodka tonic that we all love! Add in the spiced blueberry simple syrup and a blueberry vodka for an extra punch of flavor and you are in for a real treat.

Homemade blueberry simple syrup is the most delicious addition to this cocktail! Made with sugar, water, blueberries, thyme and cinnamon for a fall finish.
Blueberry Vodka
Adding a touch more blueberry, this Western Sons Blueberry Vodka as another boost of flavor to this spiced fruit cocktail. If you don't have blueberry vodka, regular vodka will work great.
Tonic Water
Diet or regular tonic water!
How To Make Spiced Blueberry Simple Syrup
Making homemade simple syrup is so easy and will be the key to delicious cocktails! This Spiced Blueberry Simple Syrup is the main ingredient of this cocktail and makes it so fruity and delicious. Simple Syrup is an easy recipe and a great item to keep on hand for fun cocktails. Made with sugar and water and then adding in different fruits, herbs or spices will make your traditional simple syrup even better.

Prepare The Spiced Blueberry Simple Syrup
In a small sauce pan combine the sugar, water, blueberries, thyme and cinnamon sticks. Bring everything to a simmer and continue simmering until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove the pan from the heat and allow the syrup to cool. Once the syrup is cooled, pour it in a glass jar and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
Prepare The Spooky Spiced Blueberry Vodka Tonic
Fill a glass with ice and pour the blueberry simple syrup and vodka into the glass. Fill the remainder of the glass with tonic water. Garnish with fresh blueberries, thyme and a cinnamon stick. Add a small piece of dry ice to make it extra spooky.

Dry ice is a fun way to make your cocktails extra spooky! Once the cocktail is prepared, use a set of tongs and place a small piece of dry ice into the filled glass. This will create a fun smokey affect. Make sure to be careful using dry ice and only use a small piece for each glass. The dry ice will dissolve quickly and will be ready to drink.

- ½ Cup Granulated Sugar
- ½ Cup Water
- ¼ Cup Fresh Blueberries
- 2 Fresh Thyme Sprigs
- 2 Cinnamon Sticks

- 2 Tablespoons Spiced Blueberry Simple Syrup
- 2 Ounces Western Sons Blueberry Vodka
- Tonic Water Diet or Regular
- Garnish: Fresh Blueberries, Thyme, Cinnamon Sticks
- Make it Spooky: Dry Ice
Instructions
