Inspired by one of my favorite dips from Central Market Grocery Stores, Love Dip is creamy and a hint of spice that you will fall in "LOVE" with. Made with cream cheese, tomatoes, a tarragon spice blend and a dash of cayenne pepper.

I love pairing this dip with Homemade Baked Tortilla Chips or part of a meat and cheese charcuterie board to make a night in feel extra special.

Celebrating Valentine's Day with this dip and charcuterie board? Don't forget one of our favorite sips and something sweet to pair with this savory appetizer! Strawberry Tequila Spritz and these adorable Heart Shortbread Cookies are on our list!

    What is Love Dip

I recreated one of my favorite dips that I discovered many years ago at our local grocery store. This pink dip was always intriguing to me because it kind of looks like it would be a sweet flavor, but once you take one bite you will fall in love with this savory, creamy and slightly spicy recipe.

A super creamy texture made from the cream cheese, mixed with chopped tomatoes and tomato paste, a combination of spices and herbs including tarragon and cilantro and finished off with a dash of cayenne pepper for the perfect kick at the end. This dip would also pair with our spring charcuterie board as well.

    Love Dip Ingredients

A white bowl with pink dip and a hand dipping a heart chip.

Cream Cheese-Full fat cream cheese that is softened to room temperature is the base of this recipe that makes it extra rich and creamy
Tomatoes- Diced fresh tomatoes need to be seeded to remove any the excess liquid. If you don't have fresh tomatoes you can used diced can tomatoes but make sure to rinse and strain them so they are dry. There is also a touch of tomato paste for a little extra flavor.
Spices & Herbs-A combination of garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, white pepper, tarragon, and cilantro make up these wonderful flavors that are mixed in with the cream cheese.
Lemon Juice- One teaspoon of lemon juice adds a fresh and citrus flavor to this rich and creamy dip

    Step-by-Step Directions

A white bowl with pink dip and a heart tortilla chip.
    • In the bowl of a food processor combine the all the ingredients
    • Blend until all smooth and creamy
    • Remove the dip from the bowl and scoop into a serving bowl
    • Serve and enjoy!

How To Make The Perfect Charcuterie Board

A charcuterie board does not have to be complicated or big. You can customize it to serve as few or as many people as you want and basically put all the things you love on it.

    Here is what you need:
2-3 Cheese Selections: I love the Trader Joes Creamy Toscano Cheese Soaked in Syrah and a mozzarella or a brie

2-3 Meat Selections: Salami and prosciutto are always a must!
Dips & Tapenade's: I am a huge fan of our Love Dip for this valentine's board and a salty olive tapenade is the perfect addition.

Crackers & Chips- Choose your favorite crackers and chips and find some gluten free cracker so you are prepared that might have a gluten allergy. Make the board festive for Valentine's Day with our Homemade Heart Tortilla Chips.

Something Sweet: It is always a great idea to add one sweet to your board. Chocolate covered almonds, chocolate truffles or these cute heart cookies are the perfect last bite.
