What Do You Need To Make Homemade Hot Chocolate Bomb
Ingredients
- Chocolate and White Chocolate Melting Chocolate
Using chocolate or candy melts are going to make a smooth start to your chocolate dome. Wafers are created to melt easy and harden once they are dry and this is very important when you are making chocolate domes. If you use regular chocolate you will need to temper the chocolate to be sure that it will harden enough to easily come out of the chocolate molds. I have loved using Ghirardelli Melting Chocolate Wafers for a good quality chocolate that tastes greats and makes a perfect hard shell.
- Hot Cocoa Mix
Add one tablespoon of your favorite hot cocoa mix to the chocolate shells - Mini Marshmallows
Is it even hot chocolate if there are no marshmallows? Add as many marshmallows as you can fit because there is never enough!

Once you have add your hot cocoa mix and marshmallows to the chocolate domes, customize these to your liking using some festive add ons to enhance your Homemade Hot Chocolate Bomb
- Crushed Peppermint

Using a silicone mold is really important to create the smooth round shape. The silicone makes removing the chocolate dome so easy and fail proof.
